How to check your TFSA contribution room on the CRA Website

Choose one of the following sign-in options to access the portal:

Once logged in, click on “Savings and pension plans” in the left-hand menu:

Further down the page, the second table displays your contribution room for the current year. Click on “View TFSA Details” to see a breakdown of your contribution room, as well as a summary of transactions from previous years.

*** Important ***

• Your contribution room does not include contributions made during the current calendar year.

• Contributions made to a TFSA and withdrawals made from a TFSA during the previous calendar year may not be reflected in your current year's available contribution room until after the end of February.
