Index-based Management Plus (IMP)

Philosophie

Our philosophy

IMP stands for "Index-based Management Plus", our investment management philosophy developed over many years and based on academic research. We do not invest based on hunches, rumors or predictions from so-called experts, but rather on decades of data, facts and results.

Our primary objective is to put the odds in your favor, so that you can maximize your portfolio's return according to your needs and the fluctuations you're willing to tolerate.

How does it work?

Given the evidence presented in our eight fundamental principles below, we believe it's better to invest directly with stock market indices and save you thousands of dollars in product fees. That's why we primarily use exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that track or replicate the world's major stock market indices, while being extremely less expensive than traditional mutual funds.

In this way, our investors obtain the full return of the market at the lowest possible cost. This approach increases the likelihood of returns compared with management that tries to beat the stock market, and keeps fees and taxes as low as possible, so your investments grow even more.

The simple long-term market returns are truly exceptional, and those who are willing to accept these returns, rather than try to beat them, will outperform the vast majority of investors who try to do better.

« An investor who earns the "average" market return for decades does not enjoy "average" wealth: he crushes practically everyone else ».
